Additions:
- Fruit Trees
- Fruit tree variants of some trees that explicitly grow fruit objects on them for harvesting
- Trees would all be small, no more than 5 block tall, with thin trunks and only a handful of manicured looking leaves
- Trees would grow fruits through 3 stages of growth before being ready for harvest
- Buds, unripe, and ripe fruit - only ripe can be picked. Breaking early results in lost fruit
- Over time, a ripe fruit may fall and break on the ground and can be collected
- This can be taken advantage of by using baskets/hoppers/minecarts under the trees
- Fruit trees would be able to be found in the wild very rarely. Breaking a fruit tree will only drop basic tree saplings
- Shears must be used to take a cutting of a fruit trees branches, with 4 branches (ie 4 saplings) being available per wild tree
- Fruit trees grow about 2-3x slower than regular trees and cannot be planted very close together, not growing at all if multiple trees are nearby already
- Planned Trees:
- Apple Trees - uses same pallet as Oak Trees
- Very rare chance (1/100) for a Golden Apple
- Cherry Trees - uses same pallet as… Cherry Trees
- Lemon Trees - uses same pallet as Jungle Trees
- Lemons
- New fruit item used for drinks, foods, and more
- Grows on lemon trees, with a rare chance of dropping from Jungle Trees
Changes:
- Apples
- Will now be obtainable much more reliably from Apple Trees
- Cherries
- Will now be obtainable much more reliably from Cherry Trees
